As the presidential race is right around the corner, the new season of House of Cards is extremely relevant to our world today. This popular Netflix original show brings back another season packed with lots of drama, corruption, and excitement. Frank Underwood, a former congressman who went to vice president and then eventually made it to the presidency through corruption and scandals, has decided to run again for president in 2016. Watch as he tries to corrupt the U.S. people into voting for him, using risky tactics and threats to his other political opponents. I have already watched the first couple episodes and I can already tell this season is going to have a lot people watching episode after episode with enthusiasm.

What’s important about this new season is that it has relevance to today’s time. Lots of juniors and seniors are going to have the opportunity to vote in the next election in November. No matter what you think, your vote in an election matters. It is your duty as a citizen of the United States to vote on who you believe should represent this country. Also, lots of controversy has come with some of the candidates, particularly Donald Trump. Watching this new season of House Of Cards,  I believe it could open up people’s’ eyes to what happens in our government. Corruptions and scandals have plagued the U.S. government ever since its creation. The show portrays how different people will do whatever it takes in order to get what they want in life. I strongly recommend people to watch the entire four seasons of House of Cards, especially if you’re interested in politics and history.
