Movie Review: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Liana Angelis, Author

George Lucas, writer of the Star Wars I – VII films has kept us waiting about 30 years, having everyone still hanging on the edge of their seat waiting to see what will happen next. The new star wars film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, brings us all to the third generation of heroes, villains, and even droids, from a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away. The new movie is filled with twists and turns involving other storylines that were from the previous Star Wars films. Familiar faces and places also appear in the new film, including the droids. The movie also includes new characters who have relevance to the previous films and bring new roles to the story. The characters also bring lots of interesting action, drama, and comic scenes that anyone would love to see.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is a movie for anyone. Children are drawn to the movie mostly due to their parents interest because it the first film probably came out when they were kids. The new film is awesome for children, but it would be confusing if the child has never seen the others, unless someone brings them up to speed on what has happened over the decades. As for that matter, this movie is perfect for the children of the 1970’s, since that is when the first of the Star Wars movies came out and has always left everyone wondering, “What will happen next?”. Lines were so long everywhere you went because of this movie. So many people love the storylines that George Lucas brought. Even for others who have never been interested in the Star Wars phenomenon, it is worth a try. It is an eventful film that is never boring and always keeps you interested. If you like action, drama, and comedy all thrown into one, this is the movie for you.
